Enjoy the UK’s fascination with late 70's American smog bois.

While I can't seem to find exact auction/sale numbers for them, the Cartier analog clocks in the late 70's Contis seem to be quite valuable.

I love the old Thames intro, reminds me of visiting with my grandma when I was a little kid, and she’d watch British TV on PBS.

Very rare fintail Universal (wagon) spotted at left around 2:47, behind the XJ6.

Indeed! I wonder if that intro played before Monty Python episodes. (I blame Iowa Public TV for my sense of humor.)

I had a roman numeral Cartier clock in my ‘78 Continental Mark V, and it kept surprisingly good time.

The one in the video appears to be a W111 like in your link, too (hell, these are so rare there’s a greater than zero chance it is the same car).

These are the ne plus ultra of fintails in terms of rarity and value.

BTW, DON’T look at the other vehicles offered for sale/been sold by that website.

I just lost 30 minutes of my life scrolling through them...and will lose another 30 once I set aside time to look at a few in detail.

Just by the verbiage I get a trust fund hipster flipper vibe - I’d likely need a winning lottery ticket to gain entrance.   Quick browse shows a mint R107 for around 100K USD - amusing.
